You may be like many people trawling back and forth between the multitude of android boxes available trying to decide which one to get while getting more and more confused by the different specifications and claims, I am not going to try and tell you which one to get but I will try and give you some simple pointers that might assist, look for one with a minimum of 8GB of storage space and minimum of 2GB of ram. I would also suggest looking for something running Android 6 (Marshmallow) this is the most up to date and although you may find a box with 2GB of Ram and 8GB of storage it may not yet have the ability to be updated to the latest version.
The reason I suggest looking for something with a minimum of 2GB of ram is because many add-on’s new versions are requiring more ram this includes the latest update of KODI 17 so you are future proofing yourself at least for a good while.
This Android box has all I have mentioned above and is a very nice compact unit coming preloaded with all the latest add-on updates with the exception of KODI which is v16.1 but this is more for practical reasons due to many build creators not having released versions for the latest KODI. The box comes with 4 x USB ports and a card reader port which is more than adequate, the remote control is very similar to the Firestick remote control if you have used that but a much improved design and feel which works very well and has a good range plus all the leads you need to get it set up although if you want to hard wire rather than use the wireless connection you will require a LAN cable (network cable).
