What a clever charger this is.
Nicely presented and comes with a detachable uk mains plug lead, plus a car cigarette lighter adapter.
Although written in Chinenglish, the instructions are simple to follow.
Upon switch on, the LCD screen is bright and easy tor read and displays voltage, charging current, charging time and battery type, but will switch to a power saving mode (screen goes dim) if left unattended for 30 seconds.
It's also capable of charging in 2 modes in either slot: 500mA and 1000mA, which you switch by simply pressing the relevant button above each battery dock. A longer press (10 seconds) allows you to switch between L-ion and LiFe P04 batteries
The negative battery poles are spring loaded, so will accept any pencil shaped battery and keep them in the device by tension alone.
This offers a distinct advantage over the usual chargers, as generally they are type specific, although I do have one which will take either AA or AAA batteries.
I tested this with an AAA battery and an 18650 battery from my e-cigarette mod box. Not only did the charger accept and begin to charge both, but also identified the battery type,(1 being NiMH, the other, L-ion).
The device charged the AAA in about two hours, the 18650 in 4 hours. The device is capable of charging a single battery also.
