APEMAN Dash Cam With 1080P FHD 170°Wide Angle WDR Camera

This dash cam arrived in a nice black branded box with the camera part in a separate black box with removable protectors on both the front and back screen and protected with bubble wrap, the second box contained the manual, a short and long mini USB charging cable, cigarette adapter and a choice of two fitting mounts.

This has a nice glass display screen rather than the plastic ones on a lot of dash cams, I think it depends on your preference and always a bit of a trade-off, with the smaller more covert dash cams you have a tiny display but are easier to tuck behind the rear view mirror and forget about but then you are not able to see the live footage or the larger screen ones good for live footage. This is a bit in between the two, the screen is small but it has a very clear glass display so can go behind the rear view mirror or in a more visible area for viewing.

After giving the manual a good read through it was time to set it up, I added a video going through the menu with day time and night time driving, using the mini HDMI socket you are able to display to a TV screen or monitor which I did and recorded it going through the menu, please forgive the picture being slightly at an angle on the menu and you should also note the video will degrade when uploaded due to Amazons optimisation process with the original footage being of far higher quality. The menu system is very simple to navigate and most of the options are self-explanatory or fully explained in the manual.

This comes with two different types of fitting system, a windscreen sucker fitting system or a base that fits to the dashboard of your car, I decided to fit it with the sucker system although with the wide angle recording you can fit it just about any place you like on the screen and it will capture everything, in the video I show some motorway driving and you have a full view of all lanes including the hard shoulder.

The record quality is superb and I have grabbed a couple of screen shot which give a better idea of the quality, I tested the parking monitor by rocking the car and that kicked in and worked well, I also tested the G-sensor function with some hard breaking which also worked very well and the linking it up to your TV or monitor works great although you should be aware you need a mini HDMI to normal HDMI lead to do this (not supplied).

Bluetooth Karaoke Microphone: Android/Iphone

This is a pretty cool gadget.

Feature packed with all manner of applications, it takes the concept of home karaoke to a new level.
Bluetooth this to any device and the sounds come through the speaker.
load an SD card with your favourite songs, or tune it to an fm radio station and again, your music is delivered through a very nice, loud, bass optimized speaker. It will also make and receive phone calls through it, as long as you install the BT dialer app from the appropriate source.

I loaded up a song on youtube, bluetoothed the mike to my tv and began to warble.

Air Mouse With Remote Control Keyboard

I got this to use with my Android box which comes with a controller but it does not have a keyboard and the range is very poor something a lot of Android box remote controls seem to suffer from.

This comes in a small long box with an instruction sheet, charging cable, USB dongle and the controller, fitting could not be simpler just plug it in and it’s instantly recognised, the unit has an built in battery you charge with the mini USB cable connection provided so no messing about finding batteries.

I first tested it in my desktop PC and everything worked as it should no messing about just plug and play so I then moved it to my Android box and again plug and play, the keyboard works very well and the simple design front of the controller panel works great and not filled with buttons you don’t need and will never use.

I have added a short video showing me using it on my Android box and hopefully the quality won’t degrade too much when it goes through Amazons optimisation process.

Stealth Dash Cam With WiFi And Full HD 1080P By TOGUARD

Very nice discreet compact dash cam, this arrived in a small box with all the bits you need to be up and running apart from a Micro SD card which you have to supply yourself, it is fitted with an adhesive attachment pad and also comes with a spare should you wish to relocate the camera.

The manual is very good and clear with instructive diagrams included and contains a QR code to scan so you can install the phone app, setting it up is very simple, it contains a multitude of different options and features some of which can be adjust using the phone application, the menu system is easy to navigate and most options are self-explanatory.

I formatted a 16GB Micro SD card and fitted the camera just to the right of the rear view mirror, this fits nice and snug to the window and is very secure. The camera powers on when you start the car and starts recording and also worth adding the cigarette connector gives you the addition of two USB ports, the display is very clear and you also have the option of turning the screen off or having a screen saver kick in after a set time adjustable in the menu.

I recorded the menu system hopefully showing how easy it is to navigate and I went on to record some day and night time driving, please don’t take this as the quality of the recording as Amazon optimises uploaded video’s and they lose a great deal of quality, I have taken a couple of screen shot pictures and added them along with the video to give a better idea of quality.

The recording quality both day and night is superb and the wide angle covers both sides of the road including paths and side roads, you can place the camera at any point on the top of the windscreen and with the wide angle recording it will still capture everything, the phone application works very well and very simple to set up connecting to the WiFi once you download the app and allows you to change a few settings on the camera without going through the menu system.

Bluetooth Retro Noise-cancelling Headphones

These arrived in a nice black box which when opened had a black zip sided case containing the headset, the first thing I did was to try them on as I have a big head, not in an arrogant sort of way although some might disagree but as in rather larger than the average and these fit perfectly with the slider adjustment on the side meaning they will fit the smallest right through to the largest head and are nice and snug on the ears.

I used the supplied lead to put them on charge while I gave the manual a good read through, this was a small book containing five languages with English being the first so no searching through to find it, although very small this manual has very clear and easy to read print (not always the case) and small diagrams with all the points on the headphones numbered and identified so very easy to follow.

Once I had fully charged the headphones it was time to start them up and I decided to do a short video of this process from the start with paring to my iPhone 6 and playing a bit of music off youtube, this hopefully shows how simple and easy the pairing process is and please forgive the quality as when you upload to Amazon the optimisation system they use does tend to degrade the video quality somewhat.

I found the sound quality superb with excellent noise cancelling feature, I wanted to test the pairing with two devices at the same time so I used my daughters iPad mini and all worked as it should, I am not sure I will ever use this function but if I ever need to I can. I tested the taking a phone call while in use and this works flawlessly with very clear quality, cutting the music straight to the ringing and as soon as the phone call is complete automatically cutting straight back to the music.

Solar Motion Sensor Light - 21 Bright LED Solar Powered

I purchased this for as a security light for my outside shed, the area is extremely dark at night with very little lighting dotted around so wanted something to illuminate the area if anyone approached it at night, unfortunately there is no power to the shed so needed something solar powered.

The fitting is very simple and straight forward and only took about 10 minutes start to finish, the instructions are clear, easy to follow and all written in English. This light has three main settings and off altogether, I tested them all but the setting I wanted was motion sensor mode so the light was off apart from a small blue LED light and illuminated when someone approached, this works really well and is extremely bright.

Selecting the mode is a very simple button press and the mode it is in is indicated by a small corresponding LED on the panel, I have added a very short video to show it in use, I apologise in advance for the quality I found it very difficult to film and impossible to show the menu selection although I did try.

Mini E Cig Box Mod By Teslacigs

I have been vaping now for over 5 years going from the very first basic vape pens then moving on as the hardware refined and improved, for myself vaping has always been an alternative to smoking rather than a way of giving up smoking, I have vastly reduced my nicotine intake since starting, lost my smokers cough, have a better sense of taste and don’t stink of smoke along with no longer being a social pariah when sparking up a cigarette so am a happy vaper.

This mini mod box comes in a very neat box with two sliding trays containing the battery, charging lead, extra glass, extra o-ring, a spare coil, atomise and manuals, I gave the manual a good read, it’s all fairly straight forward with the 5 button presses for power on and off, resistance lock and unlock features along with a coil type select when you fit the atomiser and temperature control etc all listed in the manual.

Some people who are new to vaping or considering taking up vaping for the first time might be a bit daunted at this point thinking you have to understand and know what temperature they need to set it to and if it needs to be set to Ti/Ni/SS mode or normal mode, a lot of the settings and features are more for when you start to get used to vaping and wish to refine the experience, for someone new to vaping you can fill the tank with juice and let it stand for 7 minutes to avoid a burnt taste, press the fire button 5 times to turn it on, select coil as normal when it asks and then press the button and start vaping, everything else is adjustment such as temperature and adjusting the air inlet to get the vape experience that suits you.

After charging this up I was ready to try this out, it’s worth noting a feature at this point that it has a pass through which means you can still use the mod box while it is charging a feature not on a lot of mod boxes. After filling the tank and letting it sit for a while so the cotton is saturated with juice I fired it up, I could hold the whole thing in my hand with only the atomised intake nozzle showing so not only is it a small powerful mod box it is also fairly discrete. This gives a great vape with huge plumes of vapour and I liked the coil which uses organic cotton and a honeycomb design inlet at the top really bringing through the taste of the juice.

I have attached a short video showing it in use, the quality often degrades when it goes through Amazon’s optimisation process so hopefully not too much.

I got this for my youngest daughter as her older sister already has her own charm bracelet and collection of charms so decided it was time to get my youngest daughter one and start building her charm collection.

This dash cam comes well packed in a sturdy box with all the contents packed into foam and all the lenses having protective covers, once I had unpacked it I gave the manual a good read, this is all written in English and laid out very well giving illustrations in which they have numbered the buttons to give a corresponding list of functions and features accessible and changeable with them, this really helps when setting it up. I put the FinalCam application to my phone and linked the WIFI, a very simple process and this gave me several different options and adjustments along with live footage from the dash cam and works really well.

With this dash cam coming with a Bluetooth headset I was a bit worried it might be a novelty rather than a very practical attachment, I connected it up again very simple process of pairing it on your phone and an audible bleep to let you know it’s connected, I tested the some music through my phone which worked really well and when you replace the headset into the dash cam it plays through the dash cam speaker. Calls worked well on it and you can also replace the headset in the dash cam and have the conversation through the dash cam audible to everyone in the car or have a group conversation, I was impressed with how well it worked.

The dash cam comes with a self-adhesive wedge block that sticks to the windscreen and the dash cam slots into this so very easy to remove the dash cam should you need to. I have taken some video footage of the menu system and video footage of both day and night driving, the footage is very good and clear but you should be aware it will not be the case in the video once it is uploaded due to the Amazon optimisation but hopefully it does not degrade too much and I will add some screen captures which give a better indication of quality, the dash cam takes very clear footage and with the wide angle you can see both sides of the road including side roads and paths capturing everything, this also allows you to place the camera just about any place you want on the screen and it will still capture everything.

GooBang Doo 4K Sport Camera WiFi Camcorder

This really is a cracking little action camera, it arrived in a long box with a clear plastic top with the camera fixed inside, I opened it all up and there are masses of various different mounts for fixing the camera. I wanted to fix this to my cycle helmet and it has all the fittings to do this and it fixes nice and secure.

After reading through the instructions and installing the EZ iCam application onto my phone it was a very simple process to link the camera via WIFI to my phone and then add it in the phone app, this application works very well and also allows you to change some of the camera settings without having to go into the camera menu’s, it’s simple but very effective and ideal for hands free recording.

The camera also comes with a little remote control which can be fitted to the straps so if like myself you are using it on a cycle helmet it’s a simple button push to start and stop recording without trying to find the button on the top of the camera or use your phone.

I have added a video but please be aware that the quality degrades significantly once it goes through Amazons optimisation and the original quality is far clearer. The video shows me going through the menu system which is very simple, packed with features and settings and most of it is obvious and self-explanatory but should you get stuck the manual is very clear and easy to follow. The second part shows me on my daily cycle ride.

I have added some photo’s captured from the video which hopefully gives a better indication of the great quality, at the end of the video I have the camera fitted on the handlebars, this works find but I did find the camera much better on my cycle helmet with far less vibration as I use a lot of rough cycle paths.

NINASUN "Honeybee" Silver Women's Necklace Pendant

This is a really beautiful necklace, the necklace is around the size of a 50p piece and has tiny crystals embedded around each of the four wings which are enclosed with a silver line then filled with black enamel which really makes the crystals stand out against the black of the enamel, the eyes are filled with black enamel and at the joining point of the four wings below the eyes there is a cluster of crystals enclosed in a circle leading down to the body which is separated with silver bands and filled with alternate black and yellow enamel forming the bee’s body.

This necklace really stands out and sparkles and is instantly recognisable as a bee, I got this for my daughter as she has been doing a school project on the Honey Bee and she absolutely loves it and has worn it every day since I gave it to her, it comes in a nice bespoke presentation box lines with black velvet which not only makes it stand out but is also an ideal presentation should you be getting this as a gift for someone.

This is a very clever little device.

Extremely well put together and once installed, will blend seamlessly with your cars’ interior.
Plug this into you cars’ cigarette lighter socket, tune your stereo to the same frequency as the device and your whatever you play, or connect to it, will come through your car speakers.
The instructions are very thorough, well written and easy to follow.
There are 3 interface methods:
A direct 3.5mm cable between the device and your source.
A micro SD card slot
A Bluetooth connection.

That’s only part of it though.
It also comes with a removable in ear piece if you need a bit of privacy, which fits neatly into the top of the transmitter and recharges, as well as 2 USB connections for charging additional devices.
Connect your phone and it also gives you hands free mobile use, plus it will auto-mute any other devices playing through it when you're taking a call.

The transmitter can tilt to give you the best angle for the blue LED display and make the ports more accessible.
Buttons on the device allow you to:
Accept/reject/hang up calls.
Adjust volume
Adjust FM frequency
Enable pairing
Switch the device on and off.

Set up was incredibly simple. I bench tested the Aux connection to a small cube speaker, having first bluetoothed the transmitter to an iphone. pairing was virtually instant and the sound was superb.
In the car, tuning to a spare FM frequency was easy and having paired it with my Windows phone, music playback and telephony control was a button push away.
It’s worth noting that you may need to tweak the FM frequency to one that best suits you. An empty one outside your house may not work elsewhere, if that frequency is being used by a more powerful transmitter (ie a radio station), however adjusting the frequency takes seconds.

With the authorities now clamping down on anyone caught physically using their phone whilst driving, a hands free option is about all that’s left if you want to talk whilst driving.
If you’re caught, You can get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine. Even lose your licence, especially if you’ve passed your test in the last 2 years.
Sadly, we can’t all afford these wonderful, shiny cars that do it all for you and an aftermarket hands free kit can be expensive, especially if you then have to pay for fitting.
So this is ideal. Simple to set up, simple to use, inexpensive and non invasive.

Campark® ACT74 Waterproof Action Camera 4K

This is a really nice action camera kit, it arrived in a black compact case with everything inside being in its own little bag with all the lenses and camera covers having protective plastic removable protectors.

After opening everything up I started to read the manual which is sectioned off into different languages, the manual is very clear giving good instructive illustrations and also giving a good breakdown of the additional parts and their usage. The instructions are fairly easy to follow and after I gave the camera a full charge I started going through the menu and multitude of various settings and features.

I installed the XDV application on my phone, this is a very simple but effective application for remotely controlling the camera from the phone or tablet and giving the ability to change or adjust most of the settings without having to go into the camera’s main menu, I was impressed how well it worked.

My main purpose for purchasing this is to use as a helmet cam while out on my bicycle and after setting it up I went out for a long ride and the footage was very clear, after looking through all the videos on here I decided to do something a bit different and show the waterproof features of the camera inside a case which is also something I wanted to be 100% certain of as it would be sitting on my head while riding.

I have uploaded some pictures and video footage but please be aware the Amazon system optimises and whatever else it does to video so hopefully not too much, this is showing the waterproof feature of the camera rather than video quality which is far better than the optimised version you will see.
