Warlock® Z Vape Box 233W Huge Vapour E Cigarette Mod Box Review

Good solid powerful modbox for the experienced user, I have been vaping now since the early beginning and have progressed from the first simple pen type to now having a lot of mod boxes and atomisers, I always justify getting a new modbox first of all by the massive amount of money I am not spending on cigarettes anymore and I have been mixing my own juice for over 5 years now and save a lot on that so compared to smoking it’s a cheap purchase. I wanted a heavy duty modbox for daily use that would take two batteries and I purchased a couple of 18650 3.7V 3500mAh at the same time.

It arrived in a black sleeved and branded lift top box opening up to the Warlock Z Vape being on top in a foam cut out and the micro USB charger lead and instructions under this, after unboxing it all I fitted the batteries and put the modbox on charge, I like the fact the micro USB charge connection is on the front of the modbox rather than on the bottom as with quite a lot which means you have to lie them down on their side to charge and if you have a slight leak in your tank it makes a mess, the modbox does not allow charge through vaping meaning you can’t vape and charge at the same time but not a big deal for me as I have other modboxes.

I had a good read through the manual and most of the settings are fairly standard to modboxes such as 5 clicks to turn it on and off and 3 clicks to cycle through the menu, it has a feature to flip the screen and lock the modbox, the feel of it is very nice with the cowhide material and I found the screen nice and clear with the menu very easy to navigate and solid buttons, I liked that you can slightly adjust with a short press on the plus or minus or cycle quickly by holding either button.

I gave it a good test with several of my atomisers and a RDA tank something I don’t use very often and think my next purchase should be a good RDA tank as I want to start using them more but need to research before I purchase as the one I have I don’t really get on with. The modbox delivers a good steady and consistent power stream and found it performed really well on all the atomisers I tried, the batteries (not supplied) lasted around two days of vaping but that’s for me and not really a guide as everyone vapes differently.

Overall a very nice solid heavy duty modbox for the experienced user, I haven’t detailed the various settings as this is not a modbox for someone new to vaping it’s the next step for anyone vaping wanting to move to the next level so you will know what they want and are looking for features wise. I am really pleased with this modbox, it does everything I want and with two batteries it’s not constantly on charge so it gets full marks from me. IJOY ® Hugh 100W E Cigarette Vape Mod Box Kit

For ages I wanted to try a RDA (Rebuildable Drip Atomizer) RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) and finally got a RDA, while it gave a great vape I found it extremely difficult to build/re-build and also found I was constantly filling it so when I saw this RTDA (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer) and noticed you could buy the pre-made vapor atomizer coil head so decided this was my opportunity to try this form of vaping again.

This arrived in a nice compact sleeved and branded box, once opened the mod was fitted into a foam cut out with the instructions and under this it contained a charging lead, small screwdriver and a mod rebuild kit which I may have a go at building but as I have already mentioned I struggle with these and have already purchased a pack of ready-made ones so may not.

The instructions are good, clear and easy to understand having a full English section at the start rather than mixed languages on the one page something I often find frustrating, I put the modbox on charge and had a good read through the manual, I have been vaping now for over 5 years so I fully understand all the different modes and settings but if you don’t then Google is your friend with a masses of information going into great detail which will help you set it up to your own preferences.

It was time to give it a test, I first changed the coil something I always do to familiarise myself with the process as I have found in the past when I haven’t looked how to change the coil it becomes painful trying different things while getting juice on your hands. It was time to give it a test and instantly found it really brought through the flavour of the juice and was really intense, a lot of the reason I wanted to use an RDA in the first place, it also gave great plumes of vapour.

The modbox is really solid, a nice design and has the charging port in the front of the box meaning you can stand it up while charging, it might seem a small detail but I find this a really good feature that also helps avoids leaks, it has a nice big fire button so no struggling to find it when not looking at it, there is a little window on the back of the modbox so you can see the juice level another nice feature avoiding having to open it up and peer into the hole.

This is an ideal starter kit that won’t have you needing to upgrade a few weeks after buying when you want something more powerful, for a lot of people wanting to give up smoking and move onto vaping the choices are daunting and you also run into a lot of anoraks going into the sort of details you would not really even be looking at until you have been vaping for a while if ever.

The kit arrives with everything you need to be up and running and the first thing I did was to put the battery in the mod box and put it on charge then start reading the manual which is very clear and easy to follow giving illustrations when needed. The unusual thing about this mod box is it does not come with the LED screen you have on most other mod boxes but that is the intent with this kit, it is intended to simplify the process so in effect you just fill it up and start vaping with auto recognition of the coil giving you optimum settings.

After charging I ran through the process of changing the coil as many times when I have purchased a tank when I go to change the coil I have no idea how to do it and have to search for a video so hopefully this helps someone, the tank is an innovative design with the coil screwing to the lid of the tank rather than having a screw fitting on both ends, I think this is the way tanks are going now as it seems to remove a lot of the leakage issues and the fitting is very simple.

When I changed the coil I didn’t prime the new one as I planned to leave the tank sitting for around five hours until the morning before testing but I would always suggest priming the coil with liquid when you change and leaving it to soak around 10 minutes to avoid any burnt taste if you are waiting to use it.

This tank auto switches to the best mode for the coil you are using and as I have several different tanks with a variety of coils I tested them and can confirm it auto switched to the correct mode for the coil indicated by the display LED at the bottom front of the mod box, the tank supplied comes with a changeable mouth piece, I did switch to the other one in the video but my preference is for the open ended one.

With the supplied 2500mAh Battery this is a powerful mod box and should power any tank and coil you put on it, when I fired it up the supplied tank gave a very nice vape with plenty of plumes of vapour and the flavour came through really well, as I mentioned I have added a video and will add some pictures, you may also notice I had a visiting ant in my video I didn’t notice until I watched it back so I might add no ants were harmed in the making of this video and I released it into the wild :). Please be aware my original video is of high quality and the video quality often degrades considerable when uploaded.

Kebor Cloud 50W E Cigarette Vape Box Mod Full Complete Kit

This is a great little mod box for daily use on the move in my opinion, I was surprised how small and light it is. I have several mod boxes and they are separated into big heavy ones I use at home that sit on my desk all the time and smaller lightweight ones I take with me while on the move and this falls into the latter.

I have been vaping now for over 5 years going from the very first simple pen type e-cigs and moving on as technology and the products improved to the point we are at now with good solid batteries and top filling atomisers that really deliver a great vaping experience. This arrived in a nice little sliding box with everything you need to be up and running so after giving it a full charge I decided to give it a test.

The controls on this are very simple and very well detailed in the small but very clear print booklet with illustrations that came with it, the atomiser tank is a design I have not seen before with the coil attaching to the top rather than the bottom and the air vents being in the top as opposed to the bottom with all other atomiser tanks I have seen, this seems a very clever idea and removes the seals thus reducing vastly the chance of leakage from the bottom as is the case with many other tanks, the tank is a 2ml capacity which is compliant with the new tobacco laws affecting vapers coming into force on May 20th. The display on the LED screen is very clear and good solid adjustment buttons that you have to hold to activate then adjust the power, a good feature to avoid accidental adjustment.

After filling this up and allowing time for the juice to saturate the filter (I normally give it a good 30mins to be sure) it was time to give it a test, I found it to give a superb draw with very nice plumes of vapour, the taste of the juice came through very nicely and after a few adjustments on the air vents I found it to be a very good experience.

I have added a short video at the start showing how to change the coil, priming it, filling the tank and then giving it a break before finishing with some testing, although not apparent on the video there is a 30min break between filling and usage.

AURO Retro Style Powerful 60W Vape Mod Box Kit

This arrived in a simple presentation box along with a spare coil, spare glass for the tank, charging lead and the Retro User Guide, my first impressions of the mod box when I picked it up was this is a really heavy mod box so for me it is one I keep on my desk and not in my pocket.

The finish is very nice on the mod box and does indeed have a retro look, the mod box carries a 2200mah battery giving out a top range of 60w and also the reason it is so heavy along with the metal case, the angled button is quite neat and also a good size unlike some which are very small and you have to fiddle about trying to locate it when not looking. This mod box also has a pass through meaning you are still able to use it while it is charging although a minor thing I would have preferred the charge socket on the side rather than on the bottom as it means you can use it while charging but can’t stand it up.

This mod box offers VW/TC(Ti/Ss/Ni) along with the ability to have the screen display left or right, to enter the menu you have to press the fire button and down on the power button simultaneously and I have added a section at the end of my video showing this. If you are new to vaping I would not worry too much about the modes it can seem a bit daunting and get used to normal vaping while adjusting the airflow on the tank to get an experience you are happy with and look into refining that experience once you are familiar with the usage.

The ‘Retro Special 2.5ml Tank’ is quite nice with a cone screw in top and has good sliding vent adjustment having three air inlets at the side meaning you are getting a uniformed amount of air flow from all directions (some tanks only have the one inlet), the tank is top filling something I am pleased to say is the case with a lot of tanks now and makes filling really easy. The filter is fairly easy to change and once the tank was filled it gave a really satisfying vape.

I have added a video and will also upload some images showing the mod box in use and going through the menu on it, please be aware video quality is degraded once it has gone through the optimisation system and the original quality is far better but hopefully it is still clear enough to show everything. if you find the video won’t play as I often do expand the video to full screen, start it then reduce the size again.

Mini E Cig Box Mod By Teslacigs

I have been vaping now for over 5 years going from the very first basic vape pens then moving on as the hardware refined and improved, for myself vaping has always been an alternative to smoking rather than a way of giving up smoking, I have vastly reduced my nicotine intake since starting, lost my smokers cough, have a better sense of taste and don’t stink of smoke along with no longer being a social pariah when sparking up a cigarette so am a happy vaper.

This mini mod box comes in a very neat box with two sliding trays containing the battery, charging lead, extra glass, extra o-ring, a spare coil, atomise and manuals, I gave the manual a good read, it’s all fairly straight forward with the 5 button presses for power on and off, resistance lock and unlock features along with a coil type select when you fit the atomiser and temperature control etc all listed in the manual.

Some people who are new to vaping or considering taking up vaping for the first time might be a bit daunted at this point thinking you have to understand and know what temperature they need to set it to and if it needs to be set to Ti/Ni/SS mode or normal mode, a lot of the settings and features are more for when you start to get used to vaping and wish to refine the experience, for someone new to vaping you can fill the tank with juice and let it stand for 7 minutes to avoid a burnt taste, press the fire button 5 times to turn it on, select coil as normal when it asks and then press the button and start vaping, everything else is adjustment such as temperature and adjusting the air inlet to get the vape experience that suits you.

After charging this up I was ready to try this out, it’s worth noting a feature at this point that it has a pass through which means you can still use the mod box while it is charging a feature not on a lot of mod boxes. After filling the tank and letting it sit for a while so the cotton is saturated with juice I fired it up, I could hold the whole thing in my hand with only the atomised intake nozzle showing so not only is it a small powerful mod box it is also fairly discrete. This gives a great vape with huge plumes of vapour and I liked the coil which uses organic cotton and a honeycomb design inlet at the top really bringing through the taste of the juice.

I have attached a short video showing it in use, the quality often degrades when it goes through Amazon’s optimisation process so hopefully not too much.

IMECIG® 50W Mod Box, juices and coils

This is a very nice, well put together mod box.
I’ve owned a number in recent years, all with slightly different properties – variable this and that, dual coil, bubble tanks etc and it’s sometimes very easy to get lost and confused in making a choice that works for you.
The tank is very well put together. Very well machined, with nice, tight fittings. My only comment on the tank is that it’s a bottom fill type, but as the connection is generic, you can, if you wish, use a different tank, if top fill is your preference.
The mod box itself has a series of LED’s, rather than an OLED screen and it’s use is simple:

Standard 5 clicks for on – repeat for off.

Holding the big button does 2 things: It tells you how much charge is in the box (1 light, 20%, 2 lights 40% etc) and it also tells you the wattage your vaping at (holding the button in switches from charge state to wattage, - 1 light 10W, 2 lights 20W etc)

Excellent throat hit, decent plume and great flavour.

I usually vape with a menthol blend, but occasionally, my sweet tooth takes over and I crave a fruit based flavour. Bought these as I like to add my own nicotine to mixes as I find a lot of pre-blended ones leave me either very dry mouthed, or with a sore throat.
There’s five flavours in the box. I tried the green apple first. Nice, strong apple smell, which is always a good sign and as expected, it carries the flavour very well, being a VG based product.

Nice longish needle tip on the bottle for filling those awkward tanks and a pleasant throat hit with loads of vapour. Vaped it at 10, 30 and 50W with slightly different results, all of which were fine and no burny aftertaste.

Great flavours. – I’ll be vaping the cherry one next.

I tend to vape using a vg heavy mix as I prefer a stronger flavour to my juices.

Problem is, that depending on the juice and at what wattage I vape at, I can burn through coils fairly quickly.

Bought these to fit my 50W Imecig V2 vape box. They arrived blister packed and on opening and examining them, they are very well machined and fitted my box perfectly with no leaks.

I’ve a number of atomiser tanks, which are a generic fit, meaning I can switch between tanks and boxes as my mood dictates. At this price, these coils offer good value, but I wouldn’t want to be paying any more than this for them.

WINWAY Tymod 35W Mini E Cigarette Mod Box

This is a very simple and effective mod box, it came in a very neat sliding box with a spare rubber, charging lead, replacement tube and coil for the tank along with the manual that all in English and pleasingly very easy to read unlike some which are very small print and look like photo copies. I was very surprised how light and small the whole thing was.

After giving it a full charge it was time to give it a blast, the tank is top filling and although small it has good size inlets to fill from the top, I don’t use bottom filling tanks now no matter how good they are as they are too much of a pain to fill. It’s the normal five clicks to turn on and has a choice of four selectable voltages. I found it gave a great vape and the battery lasts really well having been using it all day and it’s still going and not yet needing a charge, I normally use a Aspire Cleito Tank which I did test on this mod box and it worked fine and it also works on pass through so you can use it while charging something you are not able to do on some other mod boxes.

For me this is an ideal little mod box to stick in your pocket, I work from home and have and use an iStick pico as my main mod box but although great for home use it is a bit bulky and heavy to slip in my pocket when going out, this mod box is not an all singing and dancing mod box crammed with options and adjustments and it does not pretend to be, it’s a good practical mod box ideal for use on the move or a good introduction for someone new to vaping.

I have taken some shot of the mod box next to my other mod boxes and in my hand which will hopefully give you a good idea of size.

• Great Screen Display: Resistance of atomizer; Battery voltage indicates the power left in the battery, you will know when to have it on charge; Setting voltage (output voltage) tells what power you will get.
• Sub Ohm Vaping: 0.5 ohm & 0.9 ohm coils will offer you different feelings, providing big vapor, big taste, and big cloud.
• Super Simple to Fill Liquid: Simply unscrew the top and fill up through the side openings / holes, even without taking off the clearomiser. Do not fill the e liquid into the center hole.
• Mini Size: So small to fit in the palm of your hand, very easy to hold and very convenient to carry out.

- The manual although in English could give clearer detail on adjustments
- I note the replacement coils are not yet available and although other tanks fit this I would like to keep the original tank as it’s nice and effective so would really like to know the cost and availability date of these.
