I got this camera for some home security for live viewing and motion notifications and must say I am extremely impressed with it, the picture quality is superb and has a really solid and professional phone application linked to it I will just add at this point although I installed this on my iphone 6 it is listed as an iphone application in the apple store I also installed it onto my wife’s ipad air and it worked flawlessly on that.
This comes in a very nice sliding box and has a user manual along with a very easy to follow quick start guide giving step by step instructions along with illustrations on setting the camera up. After reading the guide I installed the EZVIZ application on my phone, inserted a 32gb micro SD card into the camera and started the live view, all very simple with the quick start guide.
I wanted to set the camera up in different places as I wanted to give it a good test in high and low light levels and also decide on the best location for it. The wide screen view captures a huge viewing area and I set it up in my hallway which has no windows so could give it a good test in zero light and was really impressed with the results, I have added a video to show this and other captures but please be aware video quality degrades considerable once uploaded to Amazon due to their optimisation process and the original footage is of a much higher quality.
The micro SD card will start to overwrite the oldest footage once it is full and there is an option to use cloud storage with a free months trial option, I installed the Ezviz Studio onto my home PC and have also captured some footage from that and added it to my video, again a very easy to use simple but very effective application.
