Nice stable fun trike, my daughter is now 25 months and is suffering from bicycle envy with her older sister having her own bike and although it is far too big for her she insists on keep trying to ride it so I thought it was time to get her a bike of her own. The three wheel trike seemed ideal as it looked nice and stable, folds down so would be easy to stick in the car or store, suitable for ages 2-5, lightweight and my daughter got very excited when she saw it on my screen so I ordered it for her.
It arrived in a big brown box with a glossy leaflet on how to assemble, this wasn’t difficult at all although when I opened the box and saw all the bits I thought it might be more of a task, the front wheel fits on with two bolts tightened with the socket provided, after removing the plastic covers on the back wheels you slip the brake blocks on and then slide a bolt through the wheel hole which then locks into place and can be removed with a press on the release button, the back wheels fold down and lock in place and handle bars fold up both locking in place with a release button and it’s complete.
As soon as my daughter saw it she loved it and I took her outside to give it a test drive, I did wonder if she would be able to get to grips with the peddles being at the bottom end of the age range but after a while and a lot of scooting herself around she got to grips with using the peddles although I think the steering concept will take a little longer.
I have added a video and will also add some pictures showing the unboxing, assembling the trike then outside with my daughter trying it out for the first time, she decided to try and carry it at one point which shows you how light it is and climbing on and off showing how stable it is, she loved the basket at the front and by the time we came in she had filled it with flowers, leaves and twigs :)
