Very nice mandolin with a great variety of cutting blades, I purchased a mandolin a couple of years ago but was never happy with it not because it didn’t do the job but because it was metal, very heavy and very bulky so storage when not in use really was a pain and it ended up in the back of a cupboard never being used.
I liked that this is nice and compact and having a container on the bottom to collect everything you sliced or diced, a storage stand for any blades not in use, the fact it also had dicing blades which my other mandolin did not and most of all it packs away into its own container.
It arrived in a nice branded box and everything inside was also covered in its own plastic bag, the instructions are very clear, easy to follow, have pictures and are all written in English rather than a multitude of mixed languages meaning you have to search through.
The different fittings are very easy to swap and all gave a nice clean precise cut, the dicing blades work really well and I found I could easily slice, dice, grate and chop a multitude of different vegetables only taking seconds to swap out the cutting blades.
I have added a short video which hopefully shows how simple the process actually is, please be aware that video quality degrades considerable once it is uploaded and the original quality is far better, if you can’t get the video to run as I often find is the case then expand it to full screen, start the video then reduce to normal size again.
Just as a side note everything I cut up in the video I put in a large bowl with salt, pepper and a chicken stock cube and made some soup :)
