TESLACIGS® Invader 2/3 Huge Vapor Electronic Modbox Review

Very practical powerful solid modbox for the experienced user, I have been vaping now around seven years from the early days of the very small pens as it progressed with decent sized mod boxes and top filling tanks moving onto mixing my own juice around 4 years ago. I wanted a good solid modbox for my desktop I wouldn’t be charging three times a day and with this taking up to three 18650 batteries it looked ideal.

It arrived in a Teslacig branded lift top box with the instructions on the top and the main modbox on the top secured in a foam cutout and under this it had the back plate to adjust for two battery usage, this modbox does not come with a tank or additional charging leads as it is not a starter kit or introduction modbox, it’s for the experienced user who wants a good powerful supply for their existing tanks.

After unpacking it was time to give it a test, I had already charged three 18650 batteries ready, the back plates have a slide and lock in system which locks in nice and tight with no chance of coming off, the whole build quality is very nice and simple and it does not come with a LED screen or charge ports, the adjustment is made via a turn dial on the front of the box so there is no additional battery drain powering a display and charging via a micro USB connection for three batteries isn’t practical due to the fact just charging one battery takes around six hours via USB.

I gave this a good test with one of my RDA tanks and once I had the power set to my liking it gave a superb vape, I also tested it with several of my other tanks including my Aspire Cleito one of my favourites of larger liquid capacity I purchased before the pointless restrictions introduced to liquid capacity maximums on vape tanks and found it also gave a superb vape, I charge my batteries in an external charger and found a full charge on three batteries lasted just over three days for me but not really a guide as this will vary depending on user and usage.

I have added a video and will also add some pictures showing the unboxing, fitting with two batteries and using the extended back plate for the three battery usage then going on to give it a test with an RDA tank and an  Aspire Cleito both giving a good solid consistent vape experience.

What I liked

- Ability to take up to three 18650 batteries but also adjustable to take just two
- Very nice build quality with solid locking back plates easily switchable
- Large fire button, I often find some have a small button which is hard to locate and you have to look at the modbox each time to find it
- For myself it lasts three days on a single charge which is ideal for my usage
- With three 18650 batteries it has a good weight to it and fits nicely in my hand, not a pocket modbox but that is not its intended use
- Nice and simple design with a clever locking system to draw power from a third battery

What I Didn’t Like

- The only negative I can find is that it is not for a new or inexperienced user but that is not its target market and it does not pretend to be

Summary

This is not an all singing and dancing modbox with a LED display that tells you what the weather will be like that day, it’s a very practical modbox for the experienced user that works really well, has a nice design and lasts for days delivering consistent power and vape experience. LoVaper® E Cigarette TC 60W Full Vape Box Mod Kit Review

This is a really nice modbox with enough adjustments to get an almost perfect vape coming with a good solid tank to deliver it. This arrived in a very nice branded slide side box containing the normal micro USB charging lead and a replacement filter, it also comes with a spare tank glass and rubber, silicone dust/drip cap and replacement/alternative mouth piece extras you don’t always get.

The Manual is nice and clear giving easy to follow instructions accompanied by diagrams when needed to assist, changing the filter is a fairly simple task and the tank is top filling, not all tanks are top filling and this is certainly something to look for in a tank as it makes the task so much easier, the tank has a sliding vent at the bottom to adjust airflow with a good range so you can go from closed to a huge amount of airflow.

The LoVaper modbox is long and slim with a very nice design, the main power button is a good size something I always look for as I don’t want to mess about trying to find it when I use it, it has a 2200mah battery which is a good size and gives several hours vaping without problem. It has several different settings all very easy to navigate and well detailed in the manual. It has a HD OLED Screen meaning the display is nice, clear and easy to see.

If you are new to vaping don’t be put off by all the different modes and settings I know some people find it daunting when vapers start banging on about wattage and modes but this is something you find for yourself adjusting and tinkering to find the perfect vape. If this is your first modbox to start you charge it, fill the tank with liquid, power it on and give it a try then adjust the airflow vent on the bottom for your airflow preference everything else you do or adjust is up to you to help create the best vaping experience.

This is a good solid modbox and I really like the tank on it giving a very nice vape really bringing through the flavour of the juice along with giving huge plumes of vapour, the adjustments on the modbox are very easy to navigate and I switched it through and tested all the modes and they all worked as they should.

I have added a video and will also be adding some pictures showing opening up the box and contents then changing the filter, this is something I have added due to my own experience of buying a tank and then not knowing how to change the filter when I need to so hopefully this helps someone. I then went through the menu system and finally gave it a couple of vapes, just as a note I let the juice sit in the tank for about 30 mins before I filmed it being used. Please be aware the video quality often degrades considerable when uploaded.

What I Didn’t Like

These are more observations than dislikes and I haven’t reduced my overall rating due to the fact they are not features it claims to have.
- I would have liked the charge port on either the front or back of the modbox not on the bottom so you could stand it up while charging
- It does not have a pass through meaning you can’t use it while it’s charging, this is sometimes a handy feature

Eleaf Istick Pico 75w E Cigarette Starter Kit

I will start off by saying this is a great product, I have been using e-cigs for over 5 years now starting off with the basic e-cig pens through a variety of different tanks and batteries and have been mixing my own e-juice for around 3 years now.

Don’t be put off by that thinking the Eleaf iStick Pico Kit is just for experienced vapers it is to put it in computer terms PLUG AND PLAY as well as having a multitude of options and adjustments for the pro vaper to get the perfect vape.

I would note early on as no doubt even though it is clearly stated it requires a High Quality 18650 Battery and this is not included so I purchased two separately, I also purchased a charger but it does have a charging port in the front of the iStick so you can charge the battery through that without the need for a charger for me it’s personal preference to always have a spare battery charged.

The Eleaf Istick Pico has an upgradable firmware so the first thing I did was visit the site and download the latest firmware and upgrade, very simple and quick but also a great feature, then it was time to fill it up the tank and give it a test.

As I stated at the beginning it is for new and pro users alike so at this point you can vape and adjust the air filter on the tank have a vape and adjust the wattage to get your desired result.

For the pro user there are a multitude of options and adjustments to achieve the perfect vape something we all strive for.

- The standard 5 clicks to turn it on and off
- With it turned off hold the plus and minus to flip the screen display and to lock the screen when it’s on hold the plus and minus with the same process to unlock
- To enter stealth mode hold down the minus and the fire button, minus and fire button to exit stealth mode
- To change modes hit the fire button 3 times then use the plus and minus to scroll through them
- With it turned off hold the fire button and plus button to enter TCR modes

Aspire Cleito Sub-ohm Tank Full Kit

Very pleased with this tank, I have been vaping now around 5 years and have updated/replaced what I use as devices have improved. I have been using an Eleaf MELO III which is top filling something I now consider a must now but I have never been overly happy with the vape from it so thought it was time to get another. A friend of mine had previously purchased this tank and was raving about it and as he has a very similar setup to myself and been vaping nearly as long I decided to get myself one.

I like the fact it arrived with a multitude of spare parts including a spare glass tank, I have never broken one of these but sooner or later it’s bound to happen so having a spare included is great. I have read some comments in the reviews about not being genuine so the first thing I did was to check the verification sticker on the website which confirmed it was indeed the genuine. I filled it up and gave it a blast with my homemade juice and it is superb, the air adjustment works well and I like the fact when filling you have plenty of room in the top to fill it.

What I liked

What I Didn’t Like

- I note some people have an issue with leakage and the air vent clogging so if I encounter any future issues I will return, edit and add them but at this time the air vent works great and I have no leakage
