My problem is that my space for storage is limited, so the option of 3, 1m tables that clip together and then fold away was perfect.
These are really good. The tables themselves are well constructed and the legs lock by gravity, as when they are opened, the extend beyond 90 degrees, making it almost impossible for them to fold in on themselves. Fitted together, they form a nice, sturdy continuous table top, which can be used for all manner of things.
I think the surfaces are MDF, so I wouldn't recommend letting them get wet as I did (when I have the time I will replace the worktops with ply, or similar, as the frames are superb).
My only problem – hence the 1 star deduction is the clips that hold the tables together. They are very poorly designed and manufactured. I had to take 2 off and turn them round as they were fitted the wrong way round. – No small feat when the screws holding them are obscured by the table legs. I had to lie on my back, underneath the table to try and clip them together, with limited success, however, for what I wanted them for, clipping them together wasn't essential.
Overall, I'm very pleased. If the manufacturer would revisit the connecting clip design and address this issue, then I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
